When God called the nation of Israel to step out in faith, he pointed them back to his faithfulness in the past to reassure them he would be faithful in the present. When we face our discomfort zones, are we overtaken by fear, worry, and the inability to act, or do we take the time to remember how God has been faithful to us in the past?
