MOTHER’S DAY: The Messy Middle of Motherhood

Mother’s Day brings a wide range of emotions. On the one hand it is a day to remember the incredible sacrifices Moms make (usually very willingly) to birth, raise and nurture children into adulthood. They deserve recognition for this! On the other hand, it can be a sad day for those dealing with unmet expectations or losses in motherhood. So how do we celebrate and show compassion and do both well? We have to step into the messy middle of motherhood.
