Jesus sure knew how to infuriate the religious leaders of His day as He went about living on mission, and this was on full display when He chose to have dinner with “sinners”. This act was a BIG deal in Jesus’s day, and He did it to make a point. The “righteous” need not apply; calling all sinners!
