Some Things Don’t Mix

Jesus was thoroughly Jewish when He took on flesh and lived among us 2,000 years ago, and that confounded the religious leaders of His day. They were “the keepers” of what it meant to be Jewish and follow God, but Jesus wouldn’t always play by their rules. He showed them that some things don’t mix with the new life He was coming to offer, and the same is true for us.
