Ephesians 4:17-20

An activity that is pointless, unsuccessful, or not worth doing because it produces no results is called an exercise in futility. The Apostle Paul in our text calls our old life apart from Christ “futility,” but how often do we try to find life there anyway. The old life is no life, and Paul explains why.
