GRACE’S TABLE DINNER: MAY 20. Watch for the TAKE-THEM-A-MEAL email with details about signing up and providing parts of the meal that we will provide to the residents of Grace’s Table.  Contact Kathy Campbell with any questions.

We’re looking for primarily college aged individuals this summer that want to help disciple kids and families build the kingdom of God while having a ton of fun in a positive Christian environment. Grace Adventures, Paradise Ranch, and Dunes Harbor Family Camp excel in providing summer camp and family camping experiences to kids and families on their campuses in West Michigan near the Silver Lake Sand Dunes.

Working at camp gives students hands-on training and experience in leadership, conflict resolution, communication, and teamwork (all essential skills that students can take to any future job). Along with the practical skills, camp staff are poured into by the Grace Adventures team and will dive deeper into their personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

There are lots of different positions available that range from Cabin Leaders to Activity Staff to Kitchen, working at our Dunes Harbor Family Campground, and even traveling around Michigan leading camp activities (our new Camp2U program).

All staff positions are paid and many receive room and board during employment. There are also part-time hourly opportunities for local commuters working at our campground and in our kitchen. For those roles, we are open to any age legally able to work. Rates have been significantly increased this year to reflect changes in our environment and accommodate growing needs.

Anyone interested can find out more about which positions are available and how they can make an impact this summer by visiting

Thank You to everyone that participated in the AOH clean-up project on April 18, 2021!  The day was perfect for the event.

  • Extra Applause & THANK YOU to Ed & Sue for the Awesome Meal! They also joined the road clean up team!
  • The team picked up enough trash to fill over 100 bags along the 2 miles of US 131 assigned to FBC.
  • The 2 year gap since the last clean-up resulted in a lot of roadside trash accumulation.
  • The FBC team cleaned as much area as possible during almost 3 hours of picking up trash.
  • We were not able to cover the entire 2 miles on both sides of the highway with the reduced number of team members.
  • The 2 miles assigned to FBC contains some steep, heavy overgrowth, and swampy terrain, which could not be cleared safely.
  • The next clean up date in the Fall will require a minimum of 27 people in order to cover the entire distance, and clean the additional accumulation. (MORE people would be even BETTER!)
  • Fall clean-up dates are: September 25, 2021, and October 3, 2021 for Michigan. FBC will target the 1st date & use the second date as weather back-up.

HOPE UNEXPECTED is in need of volunteers to help out at our Monday Meets as we start back up this fall, we are very excited to welcome back the moms in our program. We need help at both of our locations. Please email if you are interested in helping out in Byron Center and if you are willing to assist at our GR West location.
