Prayer Inspiration- APRIL

PRAYING THROUGH
CELEBRATE CHRIST’S RESURRECTION

  1. Matthew 26:39 “And He went a little beyond them, and fell on His face and prayed, saying, ‘My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; yet not as I will, but as You will.’”
    REFLECT on the places where you resist God’s will and ASK Him to gently realign your heart with His purposes.
  2. Matthew 27:28–29 “They stripped Him and put a scarlet robe on Him. And after twisting together a crown of thorns, they put it on His head, and a reed in His right hand; and they knelt down before Him and mocked Him, saying, ‘Hail, King of the Jews!’”
    CONSIDER the ways you may seek approval from others and INVITE Jesus to reshape your understanding of true kingship and honor.
  3. Luke 23:46 “And Jesus, crying out with a loud voice, said, ‘Father, into Your hands I commit My spirit.’ Having said this, He breathed His last.”
    ASK God to show you areas where you struggle to trust Him fully and surrender them into His hands.
  4. Matthew 27:59-60 “And Joseph took the body and wrapped It in a clean linen cloth, and laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock; and he rolled a large stone against the entrance of the tomb and went away.”
    SIT quietly before God and REFLECT on the seasons when He seemed silent, asking Him to deepen your trust in His unseen work.
  5. Luke 24:6–7 “He is not here, but He has risen. Remember how He spoke to you while He was still in Galilee, saying that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.”
    REFLECT on what the resurrection means personally for your hope and identity, and invite God to renew your joy.
  6. Isaiah 25:8 “He will swallow up death for all time, And the Lord God will wipe tears away from all faces, And He will remove the reproach of His people from all the earth; For the Lord has spoken.”
    BRING before God any fears about death or loss and allow His promise of victory to steady your heart.
  7. Romans 6:9 “Knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, is never to die again; death no longer is master over Him.”
    ASK God to reveal any places where fear still holds influence and INVITE His resurrection power into those spaces.
  8. Rom 8:11 “But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.”
    REFLECT on where you feel spiritually weary and ASK the Spirit to breathe renewed life into those areas.
  9. 1 Cor 6:14 “Now God has not only raised the Lord, but will also raise us up through His power.”
    CONSIDER the parts of your life that need God’s resurrection power and ASK Him to strengthen your faith.
  10. 1 Corinthians 15:21–22 “For since by a man came death, by a man also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.”
    REFLECT on the old patterns Christ has freed you from and ASK Him to help you walk fully in newness of life.
  11. 1 Corinthians 15:57 “But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
    ASK God to show you where you still live as though defeat has the final word and invite His victory into those places.
  12. 2 Cor 4:14 “Knowing that He who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus and will present us with you.”
    REFLECT on the hope of resurrection and ASK God to anchor your heart in the promise of eternity.
  13. Ephesians 1:19–20 “And what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places.”
    ASK God to open your eyes to the ways His power is already at work within you, even in subtle ways.
  14. Philippians 3:10 “That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death.”
    REFLECT on how Christ’s suffering shapes your own and ASK Him to deepen your understanding of His presence in hardship.
  15. Colossians 3:1 “Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.”
    CONSIDER what earthly things pull your focus downward and ASK God to lift your gaze toward what is eternal.
  16. 1 Thessalonians 4:14 “For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus.”
    BRING your griefs before God and ASK Him to comfort you with the hope of resurrection.
  17. 2 Timothy 2:8 “Remember Jesus Christ, risen from the dead, descendant of David, according to my gospel.”
    REFLECT on what competes for the center of your heart and ASK Jesus to reclaim His rightful place there.
  18. 1 Peter 1:3 “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.”
    ASK God to renew your sense of hope in areas where discouragement has settled in.
  19. 1 Peter 1:21 “Who through Him are believers in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.”
    REFLECT on where your faith feels fragile and ASK God to strengthen it through the truth of Christ’s glory.
  20. Revelation 1:17–18 “When I saw Him, I fell at His feet like a dead man. And He placed His right hand on me, saying, ‘Do not be afraid; I am the first and the last, and the living One; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades.’”
    CONSIDER what fears still linger in your life and INVITE Jesus’ authority to bring peace.
  21. Acts 2:24 “But God raised Him up again, putting an end to the agony of death, since it was impossible for Him to be held in its power.”
    REFLECT on the places where you feel bound or powerless and ASK God to remind you of the freedom Christ secured.
  22. Acts 3:15 “But put to death the Prince of life, the one whom God raised from the dead, a fact to which we are witnesses.”
    ASK God to reveal opportunities to reflect Christ’s life to others in quiet, faithful ways.
  23. Acts 4:33 “And with great power the apostles were giving testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and abundant grace was upon them all.”
    REFLECT on what holds you back from speaking boldly about Jesus and ASK God to reshape your courage.
  24. Acts 10:40–41 “God raised Him up on the third day and granted that He become visible, not to all the people, but to witnesses who were chosen beforehand by God, that is, to us who ate and drank with Him after He arose from the dead.”
    CONSIDER how God has shown Himself faithful in your life and THANK Him for the ways He continues to reveal truth.
  25. Acts 13:30–31 “But God raised Him from the dead; and for many days He appeared to those who came up with Him from Galilee to Jerusalem, the very ones who are now His witnesses to the people.”
    REFLECT on the evidence of God’s work in your story and ASK Him to deepen your confidence in His promises.
  26. John 11:25–26 “Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?’”
    ASK God to show you what it means personally that Jesus is your resurrection and your life.
  27. John 14:19 “After a little while the world will no longer see Me, but you will see Me; because I live, you will live also.”
    REFLECT on the areas where you struggle to believe God’s promises and ASK Jesus to strengthen your trust.
  28. Luke 24:31–32 “Then their eyes were opened and they recognized Him; and He vanished from their sight. They said to one another, ‘Were not our hearts burning within us while He was speaking to us on the road, while He was explaining the Scriptures to us?’”
    ASK Jesus to awaken your heart to His Word in a fresh way and help you recognize His presence.
  29. Luke 24:45–46 “Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures, and He said to them, ‘Thus it is written, that the Christ would suffer and rise again from the dead the third day.’”
    REFLECT on how Scripture has shaped your life and ASK God to deepen your understanding through Christ.
  30. Matthew 28:18 “And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.’”
    ASK God to show you what it looks like to live under Christ’s authority in practical, daily ways.
