Prayer Inspiration- APRIL

PRAYING THROUGH
He Is RISEN!

  1. Mark 14:33-34 And He said to them, “My soul is deeply grieved to the point of death; remain here and keep watch.” And He went a little beyond them and fell to the ground and began to pray that if it were possible, the hour might pass him by. MEDITATE on Christ sacrificing His will for God’s to suffer through a crucifixion for your sins.
  2. Mark 14:36 And He was saying, “Abba! Father! All things are possible for You; remove this cup from Me; yet not what I will, but what You will.” With a surrendered heart, SHARE your wants, desires, fears and needs with God. ASK God for a willingness to obey the guidance He gives you.
  3. Mark 14:50 And they all left Him and fled. PRAY to not flee Jesus when you are in a difficult situation or challenged about your faith.
  4. Mark 14:72 Immediately a rooster crowed a second time. And Peter remembered how Jesus had made the remark to him, “Before a rooster crows twice, you will deny Me three times.” And he began to weep. PRAY for God to comfort you and provide healing to you when you fail. ASK God to show you what you should learn and what He has called you to change.
  5. Matt 27:11-12 Now Jesus stood before the governor. And the governor asked Him, saying, “Are You the King of the Jews?” Jesus said to him, “It is as you say.” And while He was being accused by the chief priests and elders, He answered nothing. PRAY for God’s wisdom when to speak up and when to be silent.
  6. Mark 15:11 But the chief priests stirred up the crowd to ask him to release Barabbas for them instead. PRAY to not fall prey to false direction and influence.
  7. Mark 15:12-13 Answering again, Pilate said to them, “Then what shall I do with Him whom you call the King of the Jews?” They shouted back, “Crucify Him!” PRAY for courage to make the right decision even in the face of pressure by others to make an unjust decision.
  8. Matt 27:19 While he was sitting on the judgement seat, his wife sent to him, saying, “Have nothing to do with that just Man, for I have suffered many things today in a dream because of Him.” PRAY for God’s guidance to be bold in sharing truth for those that are misguided.
  9. Matt 27:24 When Pilate saw that he could not prevail at all, but rather that a tumult was rising, he took water and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, “I am innocent of the blood of this just Person. You see to it.” PRAY for a repentant heart and to be free from the temptation to rationalize your sinful actions.
  10. Matt 27:26 Then he released Barabbas to them; and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered Him to be crucified. THANK Jesus for enduring extensive physical pain for your sins.
  11. Mark 15:17-18 They dressed Him up in purple, and after twisting a crown of thorns, they put it on Him; and they began to acclaim Him, “Hail, King of the Jews!” PRAY to fully understand the meaning of Christ’s death and resurrection.
  12. Mark 15:19 They kept beating His head with a reed, and spitting on Him, and kneeling and bowing before Him. THANK Jesus for surrendering to God’s plan and offering Himself to be crucified to save you from the punishment of sin.
  13. Mark 15:20 After they had mocked Him, they took the purple robe off Him and put His own garments on Him. And they led Him out to crucify Him. PRAY to be willing to sacrifice all to do God’s will.
  14. Mark 15:22 Then they brought Him to the place Golgotha, which is translated, Place of a Skull. PRAY your life reflects God’s grace and glory.
  15. Mark 15:23 They tried to give Him wine mixed with myrrh; but He did not take it. PRAY to be a faithful disciple of Christ.
  16. Mark 15:31 In the same way the chief priests also, along with the scribes, were mocking Him among themselves and saying, “He saved others; He cannot save Himself. Let this Christ, the King of Israel, now come down from the cross, so that we may see and believe!” Those who were crucified with Him were also insulting Him. PRAY to be protected from and resist temptation to doubt who God is.
  17. Mark 15:34 At the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, “ELOI, ELOI, LAMA SABACHTHANI?” which is translated, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” THANK God for never leaving you or forsaking you.
  18. Mark 15:37 And Jesus uttered a loud cry, and breathed His last. THANK God for dying for your sins, past, present and future.
  19. Mark 15:43 Joseph of Arimathea came, a prominent member of the Council, who himself was waiting for the kingdom of God; and he gathered up courage and went in before Pilate, and asked for the body of Jesus. PRAY to have courage to take risks to serve the Lord.
  20. Matthew 28:6 He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. THANK God for defeating Satan with His death and resurrection.
  21. Matthew 28:9 And as they went to tell His disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, “Rejoice!” So they came and held Him by the feet and worshiped Him. REJOICE that Jesus is alive and is with you each moment of everyday.
  22. Matthew 28:12 -13 When they had assembled with the elders and consulted together, they gave a large sum of money to the soldiers, saying, “Tell them, ‘His disciples came at night and stole Him away while we slept.’ PRAY to be reminded that once we accept Christ as our Savior, we are no longer a slave to sin.
  23. Mark 16:11 When they heard that He was alive and had been seen by her, they refused to believe it. PRAY for your faith to grow.
  24. John 20:27 Then He said to Thomas, “Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be unbelieving, but believing.” PRAY to be free from unbelief.
  25. Mark 16:15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” PRAY for opportunities to share the gospel with someone today.
  26. Mark 16:19 So then, when the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God. THANK God for the gift of salvation.
  27. Mark 16:20 And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them, and confirmed the word by the signs that followed. PRAY to share what Christ has done for you everywhere to everyone.
  28. Acts 1:3 to whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen by them during forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God. PRAY for that special someone in your life to be receptive to the gospel.
  29. Ephesians 2:6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus THANK God for your current position sitting with God in the heavenly places if you know Christ as your Savior.
  30. Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. PRAY to surrender all and to live for Christ.
