PRAYING FOR
FREEDOM
- Hebrews 7:25 Therefore He is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. Thank God that you are saved forever by grace through faith.
- Ephesians 1:7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace. Thank God for the forgiveness of your sins, past, present and future through Christ’s death and resurrection.
- Romans 15:7 Therefore, accept one another, just as Christ also accepted us to the glory of God. Thank God that you are fully accepted just as you are.
- Thank God for your country and the freedoms you have in this country. Pray for the service men who maintain our countries’ freedom. Pray for wisdom for our countries’ leaders.
- Pray for one of your My-Five names that you would have an opportunity to invite them to church with you.
- 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. Thank God that when you accepted Christ He made you a new creation.
- Romans 5:1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Thank God for the ability to have complete peace through Jesus Christ.
- Ephesians 3:20 Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us. Pray for God to give you the courage to live a life of abundance to serve Christ, depending on His power, not yours.
- Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. Thank God for making us one with Him.
- Ephesians 2:6 and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Thank God for your position with Him in the heavenly realms.
- Matthew 5:13 You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. Pray that you will be flavorful salt in this world to spread the gospel and care for others.
- Matthew 5:14 You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Pray to be light in darkness and spread God’s light to those around you.
- Pray for one of your My-Five names that they would be prompted to receive Christ as their Savior.
- Colossians 1:13 For He rescues us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son. Thank God that He fights our battles for us. Thank God that He has already defeated Satan.
- Romans 7:4 Therefore, my brethren, you also were made to die to the Law through the body of Christ, so that you might be joined to another, to Him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit for God.
- Pray for opportunities to bear fruit for God. Ask God to give you an opportunity today. Pray for the desire to share the gospel. Pray that sharing what God has done for you just flows out of you.
- Mark 1:17 And Jesus said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men. Pray to become fishers of men, to bring people to know Jesus as their Savior.
- 2 Corinthians 5:18 Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation. Pray for the Holy Spirit’s wisdom and words to bring peace and reconciliation in times of disagreement or argument.
- 1 Corinthians 15:57 but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Thank God for the victory you have each day with the Holy Spirit.
- 1 Corinthians 6:19 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? Ask God how He wants you to care for your body, His temple of the Holy Spirit.
- Pray for one of your My-Five names that you would have an opportunity to pray with them.
- Ephesians 2:10 For we are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. Pray for God to reveal the good works that He has prepared for you. Pray for willingness to surrender to His plans.
- Romans 8:1 Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Thank God that with Christ’s death and resurrection, we have no condemnation.
- 2 Corinthians 5:21He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. Praise God for making you righteous!
- Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ. Pray to recognize the blessings the Lord has given you and use them as directed by the Holy Spirit each day.
- Ephesians 1:4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. Thank God for choosing you.
- Ephesians 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. Pray for the Holy Spirit to guide you to the good works that God has prepared for you to do. Pray for a willing heart and courage to go beyond your comfort level.
- Pray for one of your My-Five names that you would have an opportunity to share what the Lord has been doing in your life.
- Ephesians 3:12 In whom we have boldness and confident access through faith in Him. Pray for the confidence the Lord intends for you to have.
- Galatians 5:1It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery. If you know Christ as your Savior, thank Him for setting you free from being enslaved to sin. Pray that you recognize temptation and turn away.
- Psalms 139:17 How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them! Thank God for how He thinks of you. You are so precious to Him. His precious thoughts of you outnumber the grains of sand. Thank Him for that love.
