Prayer Inspiration- AUGUST

PRAYING THROUGH
NEW BEGINNINGS

  1. A New Identity. 2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.
    THANK God for transforming your identity through salvation.
  2. God’s Provision. Isaiah 43:19 “Behold, I will do something new, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert.”
    ASK for faith to see the new paths God creates in dry places.
  3. Fresh Mercy. Lamentations 3:22–23 “The Lord’s lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, For His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.”
    PRAISE God for His daily compassion and faithfulness.
  4. Spiritual Walk. Romans 6:4 “Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life.”
    COMMIT to walking in the resurrected life of Christ.
  5. Worship. Psalm 40:3 “He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God; Many will see and fear And will trust in the Lord.”
    SING a fresh song of praise for today’s blessings.
  6. Inner Renewal. Ezekiel 36:26 “Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.”
    ASK for a softened heart and spiritual revival.
  7. Forward Focus. Phil 3:13–14 “Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”
    PRAY to let go of the past and pursue God’s calling.
  8. Cycles of Renewal. Genesis 8:22 “While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, And cold and heat, And summer and winter, And day and night Shall not cease.”
    THANK God for the steady rhythms of renewal.
  9. Purity. Matthew 5:8 “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.”
    PRAY for a cleansed heart to see God more clearly.
  10. Eternal Restoration. Revelation 21:5 “And He who sits on the throne said, ‘Behold, I am making all things new.’ And He said, ‘Write, for these words are faithful and true.’”
    REJOYCE in God’s promise of full renewal.
  11. Renewed Mind. Colossians 3:10 “…and have put on the new self who is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created him.”
    REFELCT on how your mind is shaped in Christ’s image.
  12. Small Starts. Job 8:7 “Though your beginning was insignificant, Yet your end will increase greatly.”
    PRAY to trust God to expand what begins small.
  13. Cleansing. Titus 3:5 “He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we did in righteousness, but in accordance with His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit.”
    THANK the Spirit for inner renewal and rebirth.
  14. Wisdom. James 1:5 “But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.”
    SEEK God’s insight for the steps ahead.
  15. Renewal. Psalm 51:10 “Create in me a clean heart, God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me.”
    PRAY to surrender your heart for God’s refining touch.
  16. Release. Deuteronomy 30:3 “Then the Lord your God will restore you from captivity, and have compassion on you, and will gather you again from all the peoples where the Lord your God has scattered you.”
    THANK God for setting you free from past bondage.
  17. Fruitfulness. John 15:5 “I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me, and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.”
    PRAY to abide in Christ for a harvest of righteousness.
  18. Living Hope. 1 Peter 1:3 “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.”
    CELEBRATE the vibrant hope found in resurrection.
  19. Hopeful Future. Jeremiah 29:11 _”For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for prosperity and not for calamity, to give you a future and a hope.'”
    REST in God’s plans and surrender your own.
  20. Perseverance. Galatians 6:9 “Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.”
    PRAY to have your spirit strengthened to press on through waiting.
  21. Restoration. Psalm 23:3 “He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.”
    PRAY to allow the Shepherd to heal what feels depleted.
  22. Intimacy. Hebrews 10:22 “Let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.”
    PRAY to come closer to God with full assurance.
  23. Preparation. Hosea 10:12 “Sow with a view to righteousness, Reap in accordance with kindness; Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the LORD until He comes to rain righteousness on you.”
    PRAY for your spirit to be prepared to receive new growth.
  24. Divine Exchange. Isaiah 61:3 “To grant those who mourn in Zion, Giving them a garland instead of ashes, The oil of gladness instead of mourning, The cloak of praise instead of a disheartened spirit. So they will be called oaks of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”
    PRAISE God for turning sorrow into joy.
  25. Gospel Commitment. Mark 1:15 “And saying, ‘The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.’”
    PRAY to have your trust reaffirmed in the good news.
  26. Source of Life. John 11:25 “Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live, even if he dies.’”
    THANK Jesus for being your eternal life.
  27. Guidance. Proverbs 3:5–6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.”
    PRAY to be willing to lean on the Lord as you step into new directions.
  28. Divine Transformation. 1 Samuel 10:6 “Then the Spirit of the Lord will rush upon you will come upon you mightily, and you shall prophesy with them and be changed into another man.”
    INVITE God to shape your character and calling.
  29. Divine Timing. Ecclesiastes 3:1 “There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven.”
    PRAY to embrace the season you’re in with grace and expectancy.
  30. Endurance Through Trials. 2 Corinthians 4:16 “Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is being renewed day by day.”
    PRAY for spiritual strength that renews you even through hardship and weariness.
  31. Overflow. Psalm 65:11 “You have crowned the year with Your bounty, And Your paths drip with fatness.”
    THANK God for the abundance ahead.
