2) If you’re looking for ways to serve during this time, consider volunteering at BCAC.

Church Neighbors, As restrictions and closing continue to be added to handle COVID-19 exposure, we are more keenly aware that needs will continue to rise in our community and churches. Our prayers go out to you and your congregation as you work through love and caring for one another while meeting together is not possible. We want you to know that Buist Community Assistance Center is available to anyone in your congregation with food needs. During crisis restrictions, anyone with food needs will receive boxed/bagged food in our newly implemented drive thru system. Anyone new to BCAC is being asked to provide ID or mail with their name/address for a picture to be taken. No formal screening will take place until crisis conditions subside. Those needing assistance after that point (as many will with work layoffs) will go through an interview intake process. Please share this with anyone in your congregation that may need help. We are working hard to adapt to changing needs to make sure everyone has food. We will continue to communicate via our website www.buistcac.org
