January 10 Update

Hello all! These days have been going great. I’ve been able to meet a couple people from the church here as well as do some walking around the city to get a feel for where everything is, as well as meet some people and start building connections! Among these connections is a young guy name Robbe. He and some of his friends are just moving here from Belgium and own a few restaurants. I was able to connect with him as I saw him doing some painting and thought that was a good starting point of conversation as I have painted for years. We got to talking and I was sharing about wanting to teach people disc golf here and he told me to come this week when all of his friends from Belgium will be in and that they would be very interested in learning about disc golf and hanging out. Please pray for this opportunity to be able to build a relationship with him and his friends and that it will grow into opportunity to share my story and the gospel with them.

Also please pray for the opportunity to meet my direct neighbors that I’m living next to. I haven’t seen them much so I haven’t had the chance to meet them and talk to them yet so please pray for that as well!

On a side note, I happened to run into a couple Grace Bible College graduates here! They were on one of the cruise ships that stopped here for the day and saw my Grace Christian University shirt and stopped me to talk. Such a small world!
