PRAYING THROUGH
THANKSGIVING

1. Lamentations 3:22–23 The Lord’s acts of mercy indeed do not end, For His compassions do not fail. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.
   THANK God for His faithfulness each day, every moment.
2. 2 Corinthians 9:15 Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!
   THANK God for the gift of salvation. PRAY for those you know that are unsaved to come to know the Lord as their Savior.
3. Psalm 127:3 Behold, children are a gift from the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward.
   THANK God for the blessing of children in our families and at church. PRAY to be a positive impact in their lives.
4. Romans 12:5 so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually parts of one another.
   THANK God for our church. PRAY for FBC to have unity among the leaders and congregation.
5. 1 Timothy 5:17 The elders who lead well are to be considered worthy of double honor, especially those who work hard at preaching and teaching.
   THANK God for our pastors, spiritual leaders, ministry leaders and all church volunteers.
6. Psalm 119:105 Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
   THANK God for the light and truth of His Word.
7. 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18 Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.
   THANK God for the privilege of prayer.
8. 3 John 1:2 Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers.
   THANK God for the gift of health and vitality.
9. Matthew 8:17b He Himself took our illnesses and carried away our diseases.
   THANK God for His ability to heal and restore; PRAY God gives endurance and wisdom to those who are journeying through health issues.
10. Colossians 3:23 Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord and not for people.
    THANK God for your work and the daily provision.
11. Matthew 11:28 Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
    THANK God for rest and renewal; PRAY for God’s direction to balance activity and rest.
12. Romans 10:14 How then are they to call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how are they to hear without a preacher?
    THANK God for missionaries and those who share the gospel. PRAY for an opportunity to share your faith with someone.
13. Habakkuk 2:14 For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.
    THANK God the gospel continues to be shared in the world.
14. Galatians 5:1 It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery.
    THANK God for freedom in Christ.
15. 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
    THANK God for forgiveness of sins.
16. 2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
    THANK God for the presence of the Holy Spirit. PRAY to yield to His guidance.
17. 1 Corinthians 12:4–5 Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are varieties of ministries, and the same Lord.
    THANK God for spiritual gifts and ministries. PRAY for opportunities to use your gifts to glorify the body of Christ.
18. Psalm 121:7 The Lord will protect you from all evil; He will keep your soul.
    THANK God for His protection and care each day.
19. John 14:27 Peace I leave you, My peace I give you; not as the world gives, do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, nor fearful.
    THANK God for His peace in every circumstance.
20. Psalm 19:1 The heavens tell of the glory of God; And their expanse declares the work of His hands.
    THANK God for the beauty and wonder of creation.
21. Psalm 33:12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He has chosen for His own inheritance.
    THANK God for our nation and the blessings it provides.
22. Hebrews 10:24 and let us consider how to encourage one another in love and good deeds.
    THANK God for your neighbors, friends and church family for community and fellowship.
23. Luke 6:38 Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, and running over.
    THANK God for His generosity and abundance given to us. PRAY for opportunities to share your abundance with others.
24. 1 Thessalonians 5:11 Therefore, encourage one another and build one another up, just as you also are doing.
    THANK God for encouragement from others.
25. Psalm 32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go; I will advise you with My eye upon you.
    THANK God for His guidance and wisdom. PRAY to surrender to His guidance.
26. Romans 15:13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
    THANK God for hope through the Holy Spirit to guide you through each day.
27. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.
    THANK God for all things.
28. 2 Corinthians 1:20 For as many as the promises of God are, in Him they are Yes; therefore through Him also is our “Amen”, to the glory of God through us.
    THANK God for His promises.
29. Psalm 34:4 I sought the Lord and He answered me, and rescued me from all my fears.
    THANK God that He can deliver you from fear. PRAY to be free of anything that brings you fear.
30. Psalm 16:11 You will make known to me the way of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there are pleasures forever.
    THANK God for joy in His presence. PRAY to experience God’s joy no matter what your circumstances.
