Worship Arts

The Christmas Season is beginning again! One of Frontline Bible Church’s favorite traditions is the Christmas Praise Service. This event will be a night of songs and worship celebrating the birth of Christ led by Leo Caldas. Following the service will be a time of fellowship and refreshments. FBC is looking for some volunteers to bring desserts to share after the service. Please fill out the following form if you are willing to bring something to share. All food items must be at the church kitchen before the Praise Service begins. If you have any questions, please reach out to Sarah DeGraaf at sarah@frontlinebible.com

Our mission is to create an engaging and distraction-free atmosphere with life-changing worship experience.

FBC Worship Director, Leo Caldas, invites you to follow the new FBC Worship Arts Playlist on Spotify and/or YouTube. Now you will be able to listen while you work, do chores, spend time with God. The Father is seeking worshipers. Follow along and prepare your hearts throughout the week, then when we gather together on Sundays, it will be even more sweeter.

Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. – John 4:23 NIV

Music worship is our grateful response to God & what He has done for us. It is our joyful echoing of His greatness & goodness to us, so that all may see & encounter the Divine in a personal & intimate way.”

Choruses of Contentment

I’m not sure where you stand, but I am more of a “half glass empty” type of guy. It can be so easy for me to focus on what I don’t have, rather than seeing the blessings of everything God has already given me. To combat worry and anxiousness, I am learning the art of contentment.
This playlist helps remind me of the goodness of God. Join me in the quest for joy, while engaging and listening to Choruses of Contentment. May you find contentment as you take time to worship. In response to requests to make this playlist available in an ad-free zone, the playlist is available on several apps:

Psalms of Perseverance

What is a psalm? Simply put, a psalm is a song. The word literally means a praise, to shine… How fitting in these times of darkness and confusion, that we have constant lights (psalms) to guide the way! This playlist are songs drawn straight from Scripture, reminding us of God’s Presence & Constant Love in these trying times. Enjoy this playlist: Psalms of Perseverance.

Songs Of Scripture

Scripture says that the “Word of God is living and active, sharper than any two edge sword, able to judge the thoughts & intentions of the heart” (Hebrews 4:12). Often, I am reminded how God’s Word is alive…today! It can be a fountain of joy and energy to strengthen and nourish us where & when we need it most! In response, I was encouraged once again to find comfort straight from the Scriptures in these Gospel themed anthems. Join me in listening to this playlist, Songs of Scripture.

Anthems of Adoration

We don’t hear the word “adore” today as often as we should…what does it mean? To adore is to love, but in such a deeper and fuller sense. To adore someone is to have the upmost respect for someone, to hold them in such high esteem and regard. How much more should we have that for the Lord, our Creator, Savior, Redeemer, & Friend? I invite you to ponder with me what it means to adore, as we shift our focus upwards in this playlist Anthems of Adoration.

Meditative Music

Meditation is a lost art in the Church these days. In a world of busyness, constant hurry, & distraction, it is hard for us to set time aside to focus & dwell on what matters most. I encourage you to join me, as we seek to “make room” to allow the Lord to help us focus on who He is & what He has done for us. Let yourself breathe, ponder the Presence of God in this “Meditative Music” & Be Still & Know, that He is God.

Poetic Promises

As the weather is changing & Michigan fall is upon us, I have been reminded of many promises the Lord gives us in His Word: Christ’s sacrifice, The Father’s Love for us, & the Spirit’s constant guidance & Presence. Be encouraged in this month of transition, may the Lord continue to be faithful in going before you & being with you through it all!

Echoes of Gladness

How is it that we can “Be thankful in all circumstances“ or “Give Thanks” in everything (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18) when we see so much chaos around us? Is it even authentic of us to be happy (glad) when times of hurt & pain are so evident? Lately, I’ve found freedom in learning the difference between performative happiness & gladness: One is reputation-based; the other is a state of being. One is exhausting; the other is real and restful. Whatever is happening in your life right now, I hope this playlist:

• is a breath of fresh air
• puts a song in your heart
• adds a skip to your step

 Prayer:
“Lord, remind us that every day is a gift. Teach us the value of the little things in life, & help us see all Your hand has provided & is providing. Thank you that because of Your provision, we can pour out our “Echoes of Gladness” to You. Amen.

Messianic Melodies

Desert Delights

So why this playlist? Why the desert? The desert may sound tempting at times given the nature of warm weather it offers, but we all know the desert is not a pleasant place at all: Scorching heat, barren land, vicious wildlife all around, little to no amount of water. The list goes on and on. To be honest, life lately has felt like a never-ending desert. Whatever can go wrong is.

If I’m being honest about how I feel right now, it doesn’t feel like the near future is going to be much different. So, are we stuck in this desert place forever, full of parchment, longing and desires unfulfilled? Can’t we just get out of this? Well, maybe, just maybe, we need to be reminded that the God of the mountaintop and valleys, the God of galaxies and oceans, is also the God of the desert. He is with us in this desert season.

Most of God’s profound work in the Scriptures is in the desert place. It is in the desert the Lord not only does some of His greatest work, but His Presence is constant. Even when we feel abandoned, forsaken or forgotten, His gentle touch reminds us WE ARE NOT ALONE.

My prayer is that this playlist will let you feel whatever it is you need to feel. That these songs will let you enter into a space of honesty, vulnerability and authenticity. Let yourself be human. Allow yourself to experience hurt and sorrow. However, my prayer is that you will also allow God to heal those hurting and sorrowful places. Remember that He will be with you through it all. Maybe your desert season isn’t over, but neither is His Love for you.
